Purchase Terms

Draft for owner review. These terms describe how we intend to buy, but they have not been professionally approved and must be reviewed before launch.

1. Who you are dealing with

Purchases are made by Too Good To Throw Recycling Ltd (company number 14973258), trading as Probate House Contents, registered office 28 Eton Road, Orpington, England, BR6 9HE.

2. Enquiries and offers

Sending photographs places you under no obligation. We may decline to make an offer. Any offer we make is for the specific items listed and is subject to inspection of those items in the condition shown.

3. Written purchase offers

We provide a clear written purchase offer for the agreed items, which you can retain for your records or share with your solicitor. It records what we are offering to pay and is not a formal probate valuation. It is not tax advice and is not a certified or market valuation.

Each offer carries a date and an expiry date. If items are removed, damaged or found to differ materially from the photographs, we may revise or withdraw the offer before collection.

4. Your authority to sell

By accepting an offer you confirm that you are entitled to sell the items, that they are free of finance or third-party claims, and that any other beneficiaries or executors who need to agree have done so.

5. Payment and collection

Payment method and timing, and collection arrangements, are agreed in writing for each purchase and recorded on the offer. These arrangements must be confirmed by the owner before launch and are not fixed by this website.

6. Clearance is separate

Any clearance of items we are not buying is a separate service, quoted separately by Too Good To Throw. Clearance charges are never deducted from a purchase offer without a written breakdown showing both figures.

7. Cancellation

Either party may withdraw before collection takes place. If you cancel after we have travelled to collect, we may ask you to cover reasonable costs, which we will always discuss with you first.
