Why we started this service

Our background is in house clearance and second-hand goods. For six years we have cleared homes and resold well-made items through our own second-hand furniture business.

Again and again we met families and executors facing the same problem: a house full of good furniture and collectables, and no straightforward way to turn it into money before calling in a clearance. Probate House Contents is our answer — one easy way to sell suitable contents from an inherited property, with a written offer, agreed payment and collection taken care of.

We buy suitable furniture, jewellery, collectables and distinctive pieces from inherited properties. The items we buy go back into use in other people's homes, and anything we do not buy can be cleared as a separate, clearly priced service.
